So I just got back from the doctor's office. Their scale lies! It says I've gained 9 pounds since my last appointment 3 weeks ago. When the doctor looked at my weight he said, "Twenty-two pounds overall weight gain is good." Then we both laughed at the way he worded it. Notice he didn't say, "Nine pounds in 3 weeks is okay" because it's NOT! Augh!!! My scale at home says I only gained 19 lbs total so I guess it's not that much off... but still! Seeing the number I saw today and knowing I still have 15 more weeks to go (and at about a pound a week)... ugh.
On a brighter note... the baby's heartbeat is still in the 150s and I scheduled a 3D sonogram for the afternoon of Thursday, April 5. Dave and I discussed not doing it because it's not really worth the $250 that most places (and my doctor's office until recently) charge for it, but when I told the receptionist we didn't want to do it because of cost she said they do it for free! Well, who can turn down a free sonogram?!?! So we should have 3D pictures of our baby in 3 weeks (27w6d - one day before the "ideal" 28 weeks)!
Oh... and I should have the results from the 1-hour glucose test on Tuesday. Let's hope I didn't fail and have to do the 3-hour glucose test!
