Sofia's Christmas Program

Sofia's daycare started an annual Christmas Program this year. Her class sang Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer and We Wish You a Merry Christmas.

Sofia had her first ever ballet recital last week. Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt Cori and Oma came out to watch.

She's a Crawler

It's official! At 5 months 4 days old, Vivian is now a crawler.

She's Trying

V doesn't seem to know she's not even 5 months old yet. She gets up on all fours but isn't going anywhere yet.

Rolling Over Fool

Vivian first figured out how to fully roll over on her 3 month birthday. Now there's no stopping her!

First Snow of the Year

It's amazing what a difference 30 minutes makes. And it's still coming down steady.

Around noon it switched from frozen drizzle to actual snow. The flakes have gotten larger over the last 20 minutes. I'll post another picture later today.

Our Little Girls

In a 12 hour period both of our little girls were sedated and had their ears worked on.

Lucy had a run-in with Oma's dog around 7:30 PM Monday night.
And bright and early Tuesday morning, Sofia had tubes put in her ears. These pictures and video are from my phone.

Sia at the park in the evening. Like nothing ever happened.

Sofia says things sound better and louder now and her ears don't hurt anymore. Her speech also improved. Guess we should have looked into tubes sooner, but we had no idea.

Frisco Arts Festival

Sofia experienced her first ride on a school bus today while going to the Frisco Arts Festival!
She was very excited!

The festival was in a new neighborhood. One of the model homes was open to tour. Sofia found the lounge chairs on the upstairs balcony and didn't want to leave.

I was downloading pictures from our camera and ran across this video taken a few weeks ago.

Apparently Sofia has music in her head that we can't hear...

Blowing Bubbles

Sofia learned how to blow bubbles this afternoon at the sitter's house. When we got home, she had the chance to practice some more.

Sofia wanted 2 things tonight: a movie and a sister. We watched Wall-E (or as she says "wlau-lee") partly before dinner, partly after. Still no sister.

She finally figured out how to get her feet off the ground.
She's been working on this for about a month.


And she sings too...

She also does "Old McDonald" and "Ring Around the Rosey".

Like Mommy

Last night Sofia put on my sandals and walked baby down the hall and into the kitchen.

After that, it was time to see what she had hidden in her purse.
The purse didn't keep her attention very long. Next it was time to play with Mr. Potato Head. Well, at least his pieces.

And Sofia prefers Kris to Adam, just like Mommy. She was dancing just before this video starts.
