Frisco Arts Festival

Sofia experienced her first ride on a school bus today while going to the Frisco Arts Festival!
She was very excited!
Sofia tried her hand at the viola.

The festival was in a new neighborhood. One of the model homes was open to tour. Sofia found the lounge chairs on the upstairs balcony and didn't want to leave.

Sofia's attempt at the salsa.
Sofia and Mommy are on the right. Notice the graceful ballerina moves.

Even off the stage, Sofia was the star of the show.

Earlier this week, Sofia insisted I take these pictures.
I thought I'd post them for your enjoyment.

Active One

Dave took these pictures with our Nikon D60 the other night. It's amazing how good a picture it can take!

Sofia decided it was best to take a bite from the side of the banana instead of the end of it.
Sofia likes to line things up. I guess since it's not actually straight, it's not officially a line, but she doesn't care!
Sofia also likes showing off her elbows...
... and climbing on Daddy.

She wanted me to take a picture of her jumping. It's hard to tell from the picture but she was several inches off the floor.
Lucy has been left out of the pictures lately. On Saturday she joined Sofia and me in the backyard playing with bubbles.
Sofia and her lovely eye lashes.
On a side note, when we pulled into the garage this evening Sofia told me "I wah siser". "What?" I asked. "I wah siser," she replied again. "You want a sister?" "Yeah." -- uhm... with my new job, that's not gonna happen for a while... I think the new baby at the sitters is rubbing off on her. She loves all over the baby all the time (within reason) and even pulls up a chair to watch her play on her playmat.

Our Little Singing, Jumping Bean

She finally figured out how to get her feet off the ground.
She's been working on this for about a month.

And she sings too...

She also does "Old McDonald" and "Ring Around the Rosey".

:)
