Happy Easter

Sofia started her morning hunting eggs from the Easter Bunny in our backyard. Lucy had to help out a little.

These eggs were filled with yummy jelly beans!

Then we headed to Grandma and Grandpa's house where the Easter Bunny left more eggs for Audrey and Sofia.

This time he left lots of stickers and little toys!

On Thursday, my work had its annual Egg Hunt. Sofia over-filled her basket with all the goodies.
On a side note, Sofia has taken to lining up her kitchen items on our coffee table. Where did she get this idea? We don't know.

Early October

As October starts, Sofia is getting new molars. (2 yr 3 mo)

Grandma and Grandpa (Pepa) stopped by this weekend for a visit after returning from their trip to the Greek Islands. Sofia decided they needed stickers.

And of course, we can't forget her hands too!

After getting home this evening, we took a look at the mushrooms that sprouted in our backyard.
Then Sofia spent a few minutes on her swing.

This was the sun on Thursday. The smoke and ash in the air was so thick we were sure the wildfires were in our county, but apparently it had traveled from 2 counties over...

She's a Righty

While playing with stickers and the computer chair last night I noticed that Sofia put all her stickers on the right side again. She does this every time. Apparently she's a rightey..

Notice stickers on the right side of her head...

... and the front of her face ...

... but not a single one on the left side.

In other news, Sofia will be a pumpkin for Halloween this year. Last year it took forever to find small infant consumes but toddler ones were everywhere. This year it's the opposite; small infant and 2T-4T costumes everywhere but almost nothing in between! I feel lucky I finally found a cute costume at the 3rd store I went to...

Caught in Action

One of Sofia's favorite things to do these days is cover her head in stickers. If you take one off and put it somewhere else, like her leg, she'll take it off and put it back on her head. Silly girl!



In other news, Sofia's 7 holes (4 from shots and 2 from blood work Friday and 1 from a bee sting Saturday) don't seem to be bothering her at all.

We celebrated Grandpa's birthday yesterday! Happy birthday, Grandpa!

Yesterday was also McKinney's first Oktoberfest. Compared to Addison's, this was nothing. There were a couple booths with food, a few with beer, hokey German music and dancing, and for the kids - face painting, pony rides and a petting area. We didn't want to take Sofia into the petting area with all the animals (goats and baby piggies mainly) but did let her take a look at a goat through the fence. She wasn't too sure at first but then got comfortable with the goat and didn't want to leave!
