Happy Halloween!

We waited a while to carve the pumpkin this year.

Started at 5:30 PM Halloween Night

Ended 5:55 PM Halloween Night

Sofia loved trick-or-treating this year!

Fall

Friday night we tried to take Sofia to Safety Town's Trick or Treating event. We got there 30 minutes after it started and the line was incredibly long (at least 45 minutes) just to get inside! So, we looked at the fire truck and went home.
To make up for it, Sofia went Trick or Treating at Great Gramma's the next morning.

Sunday we headed out to the Big Orange Pumpkin Patch in Celina.

Sofia loved feeding the goats!

Then we stopped to take a few pictures.

Whenever we told her to smile, she raised her hand.

Last night, Sofia tried on her Halloween costume for me.

She was very excited when she found the
button that made the skirt light up.

Pumpkin On the Run

So, today our sitter is out of town with her husband (and his souped up SUV) hoping to be on an episode of Pass Time on Speed. She lined up a back-up sitter for us but that sitter called us at 6:05 this morning sick from the ER. So... I got to spend the day with Sofia! We took Daddy and his co-workers lunch, then headed home for a nap.

When Sofia got up I put her Halloween costume on her. She didn't like the hat too much...

But then I took her in the bathroom so she could see herself in the mirror and she found herself a pacifier (that matches her costume) and she took off running...

She'll wear a black shirt and pants under the costume on Halloween. She sure will be cute!!!
