Go Fly a Kite

Sofia took a quick trip to our local park to try and fly a kite. She had a blast even though the kite didn't stay up very long.

And unrelated, this is how V eats finger foods. What do you mean you can eat through the top of your head or side of your face?

A Trip to the Park

It was a beautiful day outside so we took a trip to the park.

Egg-stravaganza

Our neighborhood's annual Egg-stravaganza event was this weekend.

Daddy and Sofia headed to the bounce house.

After the bounce house it was time to tackle the playground.

She climbed all the way up with no help!

The big kids (and some parents) made their way across the field and left it clean.

After the 5 minute egg gathering event Sofia made her way back to the bounce house where she got to bounce with one of her friends from daycare. We then had hot dogs and potato chips for lunch and headed home for naps.

We celebrated Audrey's 8th birthday at the park. She finally got the outside party she's always wanted!

Another Month

Sofia helped Mommy clean the bathroom last weekend.
Last weekend, we took a trip to the splash pad. After several minutes of coaxing...
... Sofia finally went in the water ...
... and LOVED it!

Aunt Khristy and Audrey gave Sofia a hat last weekend. She loves it!
We have some new neighbors on the back porch. Mommy and Daddy Dove welcomed 3 baby birdies this week.
This afternoon, Sofia was running around playing and ended up slamming her head into the edge of our computer desk. Her right front tooth was dislocated and her lip became fat (after it finally stopped bleeding).
She has an appointment for x-rays with the dentist Monday afternoon. We tried moving the tooth back into place, but it's not quite there yet.

Busy Month

Sorry I haven't posted more pictures sooner. We've been a little busy.

One Saturday while our house was being shown, we took a trip to a local park.

Daddy took Sofia on a trip to buy a kite last weekend. The wind wasn't really strong enough, but they did get to try it out.

Our Little Girls

In a 12 hour period both of our little girls were sedated and had their ears worked on.

Lucy had a run-in with Oma's dog around 7:30 PM Monday night.
And bright and early Tuesday morning, Sofia had tubes put in her ears. These pictures and video are from my phone.

Sofia says things sound better and louder now and her ears don't hurt anymore. Her speech also improved. Guess we should have looked into tubes sooner, but we had no idea.
