We (my mom, Sofia and I) went to Sofia's 2 week appointment today. They say they are happy if the baby is back to birth weight (7 lb 14 oz) by 2 weeks and Sofia has surpassed that. She was 8 lb 11 oz today. So, any worries about her not getting enough food are out the window! She's in the 75th percentile for weight, 75th percentile for head size and 90th percentile for height (21.3 inches).
Sofia also seems to be having a growth spurt since she can't get enough food right now and wants to feed every 1 - 3 hrs... she was eating every 3 - 5 hrs until the past few days. Luckily this afternoon she finally made it back to 4 hrs between feedings so maybe the spurt is over for now (I can only hope; it will allow me to sleep a little more).
Update - I shouldn't have said anything... she just fed again after 1.5 hrs...
As for my appointment, I can now drive! WooHoo!!! The doc said my incision looks good and I go back again in 4 weeks to be checked again.
